Welcome to Wishes Book! By browsing, shopping, creating memories, or generally enjoying yourself on our website, you agree to these Terms of Service. We've tried to keep the legal jargon to a minimum and the human language to a maximum.

1. The Important Bit

By using our website, you agree to play nice, provide accurate information, and follow applicable laws. In return, we'll do our best to provide beautiful products and excellent service.

2. About Wishes Book

Wishes Book creates personalised keepsakes designed to capture messages, memories, and moments that matter. We believe life's special occasions deserve something meaningful, and no family fights over funeral arrangements!

3. Digital Products

Sorry, but digital products cannot be returned.  On the plus side, these are very low cost items so won't cost the earth!

    4. The "Oops" Clause

    Humans make mistakes. Computers occasionally have a day off. If something isn't right with your order, please contact us as soon as possible and we'll work with you to make it right.

    5. Payment

    When you place an order, you agree that:

    • Your payment details are valid.

    • You are authorised to use the payment method provided.

    • You genuinely intend to purchase the item and aren't just clicking buttons for entertainment.

    All prices are listed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) unless stated otherwise.

    6. Shipping & Delivery

    We'll package your order with care and send it on its journey.

    However, once your parcel leaves our hands:

    • Weather may happen.

    • Couriers may have adventures.

    • Traffic may traffic.

    While we do our best to meet delivery estimates, we can't guarantee exact delivery dates.

    7. Returns & Refunds

    For personalised products, returns may be limited unless the item arrives damaged, defective, or contains an error made by us.

    If something's not right, please contact us and we'll do our best to help.

    8. Your Content

    If you upload photos, messages, designs, or other content, you confirm that:

    • You own the rights to use it, or have permission.

    • It doesn't infringe anyone else's rights.

    • It isn't offensive, unlawful, or likely to cause widespread family arguments.

    You retain ownership of your content, but you grant us permission to use it solely for fulfilling your order and providing our services.

    9. Intellectual Property

    Everything on this website—including our designs, branding, images, and content—belongs to Wishes Book unless otherwise stated.

    Please don't copy, reproduce, or redistribute our work without permission. We spent a lot of time making it look nice.

    10. Website Availability

    We aim to keep the website running smoothly, but occasionally:

    • Servers need naps.

    • Software needs updates.

    • Technology reminds us who's really in charge.

    We cannot guarantee uninterrupted access at all times.

    11. Limitation of Liability

    To the fullest extent permitted by New Zealand law, Wishes Book will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or products.

    In plain English: we'll always try to help, but there are limits to what we can be responsible for.

    We may update these Terms from time to time. If we do, we'll post the updated version here.
