My Wishes Story

Wishes was created after the death of my father-in-law who died suddenly in 2021, and without leaving Wishes.

With no guidance on funeral arrangements, I saw my family begin to fight, and I found this difficult, especially as I was also supporting my two young sons who had lost their Grandfather.

There were disagreements about whether a funeral should be held.  There was confusion about where his ashes should be scattered, and there were questions around his will, and why he'd gifted some items to one child, but not others.

To be honest, things in our family haven't been the same since. That's why I created Wishes. It's a document I wish my father-in-law had completed. Because talking about death isn't fun, but it is practical.

Whether we like to admit it or not, one day our loved ones will be laying us to rest.  I personally want my children to know exactly what I want so they don't have to make any decisions during a difficult time.

Wishes allows you to make choices now.  So your family don't have too.  So your family can grieve in peace, and with clarity, knowing they have carried out your Wishes, just as you wanted.
